Located in a beautiful two-story home in the heart of one of El Dorado’s oldest neighborhoods and just a few blocks from downtown, The EAGLE Foundation Learning Center is a special and unique place for students and families.
Built in the 1950s by Curtis A. and Polly Kinard, 411 N. Murphy housed their business, KinArk Oil Company, for several years before being gifted to their son Curtis Wayne and his wife, Sarah, shortly after their marriage in 1967. The home was a place of love and security for the Kinards, their children, grandchildren, extended family, and wonderful friends for over 50 years.
In keeping with the legacy of giving first set by her parents-in-law, Sarah entrusted her daughters with the task of ensuring the home continued to bless others following her death. In turn, they donated the family home to The EAGLE Foundation in December, 2018 where it will be an anchor of light in the neighborhood and community for years to come.
