Our teachers are not only competent and compassionate educators, they are mentors.

Young people don’t grow into healthy adults by default. The process of development is complex and dynamic, requiring adults in their lives to be aware of their needs, wisely engaged, and consistently supportive.

That is why The EAGLE Foundation Learning Center is different. We combine training/instruction with personal attunement and support to increase confidence, and empower young students in every area of wellbeing.

 What makes us effective?

  1. Students are thoughtfully paired with qualified and trusted teaching mentors;

  2. Educational plans are customized for students based on needs and learning styles;

  3. Evidence-based teaching strategies are used to help students learn and retain concepts;

  4. The needs of the whole child are honored and addressed in the mentoring and learning process.

“My son has struggled for years with reading, writing, and basic math skills. We reached out to EAGLE and have gotten help and so much more! His confidence in reading and reading comprehension has soared. His grades are better than ever. He is very proud of himself and loves going to EAGLE.”

— Mom of a 5th grader after 2 months at EAGLE LC

Located in a beautiful 2-story home in the heart of El Dorado, the former Kinard Family Home has become a special and unique place for learning.

Built in the 1950s by Polly and Curtis A. Kinard, the house served as the primary office for KinArk Oil Company until being gifted to their son and new wife in 1967. For over 50 years, the home was a place of love and security for Sarah and Curtis W. Kinard, their children, extended family, and wonderful friends.

In keeping with the legacy first set by her parents-in-law, Sarah entrusted her daughters with the task of ensuring the home continued to ‘give’ following her death. In turn, they donated the property to The EAGLE Foundation in December, 2018 where it became a center of learning for young students and a light in the community in September, 2019.
